2023

"Professor Valdemar Vasari’s life was forever changed the day he was doused in radioactive oil paint and gold foil, granting him all the powers of a Gustav Klimt Painting! Now he protects the art world from ruffians and evil doers as… CAPTAIN KLIMT!”

Captain Klimt is the Carnegie Center’s first-ever comic book, designed to get readers excited about art and history, and to spotlight the various programs offered by the Carnegie Center and the other branches of the Floyd County Library. With beautiful artwork and witty writing from two-time Printed Edition Creative Daniel Vance, Captain Klimt creatively weaves academic critique with super-heroic flair.
