For the past six years this group of local photographers have met up 8:00AM every Tuesday. Some weeks in-person, others online. At these get-togethers they talk about photography, art, their photography, their art, life, family, ideas good and bad. They help each other with the hard work of editing, sequencing, providing feedback, keeping going, and keeping it honest. This zine is a glimpse into what they all created in 2020, a reflection on how they challenge one another to bring something to the table each week, whether it’s a completed piece of work or just the beginning of an idea.
For the process of making this zine, each photographer created 4 spreads, knowing they’d be folded, but not knowing how all the images would end up interacting after folding. In the opinion of those photographers and the team here at Printed, it worked out surprisingly well!
