Litemares Issue #2

Death. Ever thought about it? Remember the first time that it really dawned upon you? The fact that you were going to die? Litemares Issue #2 reminds me of that feeling, with the subjects of its photography not the desensitized symbols of tombstones and skulls, but instead the illuminatingly real of roadkill, broken windshields, and buildings hopelessly decaying under the weight of time. The things that we haven’t designed for public consumption, that upon seeing makes anyone question their mortality, perhaps even for the first time.

Alongside these photos are lines of poetry, forming over the course of the zine through pasted slips of paper a fully coherent piece concerned with death’s many options and the life before one is chosen. With these two facets both equally excellent, Litemares Issue #2 shines in its darkness.
